The rapidly reviving village of Port Chester (population: 28,967, according to the 2010 census), nestled between the larger affluent communities of Rye and Greenwich and well-connected by the Metro North and Northeast Corridor railway line and by Interstate Highway 95, offers an ideal retreat as well as a temporary or permanent residence for students, dancers, teachers, guest artists and companies. Ballet des Amériques is located in the heart of the downtown area, where industrial-era buildings and waterfront locations have been renovated to house boutiques, restaurants, bars, specialty grocery stores, beauty salons and fitness centers. The Capitol Theatre, AMC Loews, large stores such as Costco, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Stop & Shop, Michaels, Home Depot, Staples as well as the beach on the Long Island Sound shore are all within walking distance. The convenience of having all amenities and recreational destination so readily accessible makes it possible to concentrate on the art of dance.

Ballet des Amériques currently operates in three dance studios equipped with a total of 3,300 square feet of state-of-the-art sprung dance floor at its 16 King Street location
